CANEMORTO
(Milan, Italy, 1988, 1989)
Active since 2007, CANEMORTO is a trio of figurative artists from Lombardy region, graduates of art school and raised in graffiti culture. Their aesthetic draws inspiration from art brut, comics, tattoos, and the languages of the metropolitan underground. The appeal of their work lies in the six-handed composition of their entire artistic corpus, the originality of their creative expression, their cult of the brutal and raw, and their search for an anti-aesthetic that opposes the myth of superficiality and beauty in our time. They live and work in Bologna Italy.
CYOP&KAF
(Napoli 1974)
A Neapolitan artistic duo, they have been a key reference in the urban art system for over 25 years. Their art is poetic, enigmatic, deeply tied to their territory, melancholic, and filled with irony. In 2012, they transformed the urban landscape of Naples’ Spanish Quarters into an open-air visual narrative: a constellation of over 200 paintings on doors, shutters, and walls; an experience they later replicated in the historic center of Taranto. They paint human and mythological figures touched by color—sinuous, anthropomorphic bodies, sometimes angular, sometimes unsettling—animated by an untamed, neurotic force and exuberant impulse, reflecting the humanity of the city where they live. They live and work in Naples.
MICHELE SERVADIO
(Padova 1986)
Graduated in Art in Padua, with a degree at IUAV in Venice. In 2007, he approached tattooing and moved to Hackney Wick, London, where he launched projects linking various artistic practices, from tattooing to painting, printing to photography, music to performance. He explores and describes the human condition and its environment in a body of work that embodies light and color in a mix of folklore and expressionism. He lives and works in London.
WORD TO MOTHER
(Hastings 1979)
Writer, tattoo artist, and figurative artist raised in an international environment. His work gathers inspirations from writing on found objects, combining multiple influences. It is melancholic yet optimistic, living in the juxtaposition of fragile and emotional elements combined with strength and confidence. Fine textures and shades of gray accented by livelier tones characterize his distinctive aesthetic. He lives and works in London.
