HOGRE
(Rome, 1989)
A well-known figure on the European art scene for his unauthorized interventions, HOGRE’s artistic signature has always been steeped in irony and reversal—openly challenging mass media and massification. Active since 2007, he has collaborated with several galleries including Mondo Bizzarro and Laszlo Biro in Rome, Galo in Turin, and WAR in London. In 2013, he participated in the La Tour 13 exhibition project in Paris, and in 2018 he was one of the organizers of the Subvertising Warsaw action in Warsaw. He has published the books What’s Hogre? and Subvertising, and currently collaborates with the UK-based Dope Magazine. He also has a few skeletons in his closet.
